I legit dropped everything I was doing and then just went and made an entirely new creature, huh.

Well yeah, I saw that new Maren familiar on Flight Rising and immediately fell in love, they are such a cutie! Personally, my favourite Maren simply because of the more mammalian design and softer, more streamlined anatomy. I then decided to go actually do some studying of the anatomy of aquatic mammals, primarily seals, cetaceans and otters, so I ended up with this :^) Anatomically accurate mermaid!
