Wow, I thought it was a photo! I think that technically it can be made in real life, like when balloons get covered in glue and then wrapped into woolen threads. The only problem would be to get the man out of it.

this is fantastic. as a 3d artist and modeller myself, i know how i think i would have done this, but to say how is giving away secrets. aside from fact, the art is awesome! well done. feeling, emotion and pure sensation are the order of the day. very well done!!!

I love this. The way the roots seem to generate from the bodies, rather than if they grew over them. Also, the roots remind me of synapses, like a physical manifestation of a memory that is fading. Maybe the feeling of a touch. I don't see the act of sex being immortalized (due to the females resting her head in her hand) but rather that feeling of closeness and emotional bond that was once felt but is now lost. Maybe just the feeling of wanting that person to hold you again as though they were clinging to life. It makes me feel very similar to the bodies in Pompeii, as those people were clinging to each other in the last moments of their life.
