So, time for some very obscure fanart, though they are 'redesigned' in a sense. These pirates are, more or less, based upon some toys I loved as a kid. Fisher Price's "Great Adventures" series had a slew of different themes, but the ones my brother and I gravitated toward were the Knights and the Pirates. For being basic kids' toys, the designs were really charming and there was a lot of variety. One of my favorite groupings was a trio of skeleton-mask wearing pirates. Captain Bonemeal, Spiney and Ribbs were their names, apparently. I didn't know this until recently, haha.Related content

Saw this on FB but I didn't realize the toys were Fisher Price. Absolutely LOVED the knights, I had the castle for many years and I still have one of the knights. Great memories. And great choice for a pic!

Thank you, not only your drawing is fantastic, but while searching for the original toys to see how they looked like, i came upon the Fisher price's pyramid that i had as a kid and i didn't know it was made by them; i wonder how it would look like in your style.

Wow, I actually vaguely recall this, but it's been forever. Love how you drew these. They're so stylized, and I have a fondness for pirates.
