Sunpaw is a very social and friendly cat; even to those he has never met or seem to have a negative view of him. He tries his best to be everyone's friends and can appear extremely clingy and needy- He has a deep fear of abandonment and attempts to surround himself with other cats at all times. He does not handle his own company well, exclusion is the worst thing he could experience.
He appears to have no middle ground to his activity levels, either on a high energy mode or completely crashed mode. He talks for the sake of filling the silence and hardly stays still outside of sleeping and cuddle piles. Others get exhausted with him easily and he often ends up on the receiving end of a few annoyed nips and swats.
Being so Young, his view of the world and other clans seem to be very Naïve, He doesn't expect for other cats to try and take advantage of him, and he can find it hard to understand the idea of not trusting other clancats like he would his own. For him, they are all cats and surely they wouldn't hurt another of their kind. He still has the carefree nature that comes with kittenhood, along with the high of his recent apprenticing - He is extremely optimistic and fails to see the bad side to situations.
Sometimes his mass levels of energy may be redirected in less than helpful ways. Sunpaw loves to create havoc and rarely thinks before he leaps. He often causes minor inconveniences in the camp and often ropes his friends into his messes. He dutifully takes the punishments handed to him for his fun; its worth it to see the fun and excitement in other Apprentices and Kits eyes. He likes that his antics can bring happiness to others.

History:

He was born to a younger mother named Ivytail (NPC) A short and stout tortoiseshell she-cat. She was only just granted her Warrior name a couple moons before his litters birth. She had fallen pregnant from a Loner, A ginger tabby Tom that had found his way into Treeclans borders and charmed her into letting him hide away deep in the forest. The two were close romantically, with Ivytail often visiting him in the dead of the night, until the she-cat could no longer hide her pregnancy. The loner turned violent towards her, attacking her viciously, before disappearing from the clans territory. She returned to the camp heavily injured from the attack; with the clan uncertain of her survival. She lasted a few more weeks under the supervision of the medicine cat, long enough to birth her litter (Every kitten except one arriving Stillborn) before succumbing to her heartache and injuries. The kit was dubbed Sunkit, due to the brilliant orange tabby markings decorating his face and paws.

Sunkit was quickly passed to the other queens in the den, though none had wanted to properly claim the kit of an unknown loner. Instead they shared the duty of his care and he grew up with no true family, the clan itself becoming the family he needed. They kept him at arms length, unwilling to put more effort than the basic levels needed for him to survive. Sunkit found himself feeling the effects of this standoffish behavious, and instead turned to phsically force himself into their space and slowly wormed his way into a position where he was treated kinder.
The other kits were kinder, very quickly warming up to Sunkit. An older dark-pelted kit named Cricketpaw had taken a particular shine to the attention seeking kit; quickly adopting him as their own. They quickly become an inseperable duo, Sunkit often prancing along in the shadow of the Cricketkit, his attention hooked fast into whatever the older kit was doing.
Sunkit found that some of the other kits were a lot shyer than him, where he would loudly declare his existance, they seemed to take a step into the shadows, mewls quiet and shying away from nosey eyes and paws. He was often drawn to these Introverted kits, determined to make them his friend. One of these kits was Tallkit, a Pale pelted kit who cared more for flowers and plants than the other cats around her. At first Tallkit was hesitant with his presence, but let herself be dragged into the kits mischief and energy- becoming fast friends that last till this day.

Sunkits life was pretty uneventful until his Apprenticing- earning the name Sunpaw and truly beginning his journey in his clan.

Extras:

Sunpaw is Gay and tends to have many crushes on many cats ranging from apprentices to warriors, and these can be from any clan to loners and rouge even. Since he's still pretty young these arent serious crushes, not even really romantic more so admiration. He is free with his affection and struggles to make boundaries between his clan and other clans which is why the scope of his crushes is so wide. When he ages up a bit, his crushes will get more serious, and he may end up with maybe more than one cat in his interest- he may end up with a bit of a reputation for being a flirt.

He Loves to climb, and if he isnt trailing Cricketpaw or playing about with Tallpaw he can be found scaling the many trees in the forest. He loves to poke his head out of the top boughs and see the clouds, he especially enjoys the sun on his face. He is quite useful when there are difficult to reach plants other cats need; his tree scaling lending him a better sense of balance and agility.

Loves to collect anything, He has a large collection of rocks from Tallpaw, and has ammassed a solid pile of feathers and small bones and dried leaves from his forays into the forest. He is sentimental.
