A more obscure reptile by the looks. Couldn’t cram the whole tail on my paper but for reference the tail is probably around 3/7ths of the body’s length.Related content

Not a reptile actually. Synapsids, while they did descend from reptiliomorph amphibians like reptiles did, are otherwise taxtonomically separate from reptiles. One guy that I met once said that it would be more accurate to describe them as "reptile-like mammals" than "mammal-like reptiles", since Therapsids in particular had more mammalian traits such as smooth skin and endothermy.
