- Xerxes wasn't his first owner. He's been through a whole bunch but always seems to be returned or rehomed due to his aggressive behaviour. Roulette then became a stray Pokemon, and wandered the streets, having no kind of intention to be rehomed until he bumped into Xerxes. Which is a story to tell another time.
- Roulette is extremely competitive and loves to battle.
- Whenever Xerxes calls him Roo/Rou, he always seems flustered by the embarrassing nickname and kicks him. Well, whenever he's annoyed by Xerxes he always packs a kick to his trainer.
- Due to his large ears, they're always drooped to the back of his head. As a baby he always tripped over them, or they would get in the way of everything. Sometimes they still do get in the way.
- After recently recovering from the virus, he's become a little more antsy and careful. Not so reckless.
