Introduction for the Law of Talos Tourney hosted by *Sins-Of-Angels !I hope you enjoy. Kinda scrambled to get this together. It's traditional for once (gasp). I did it with inking pens, ink & brush, watercolor, colored pencil and goache. It's got digital bubbles, gutters and a bit of color correct, though it's still 90% or so traditional.
I threw in big thick gutters between the pages here, since I did the page full-bleed (because i'm stupid) so it kinda gets weird when it's stacked. So here's 10 pages all on top of one another! And hopefully this will give you a general idea of the way that Rellik an me interact... mweheh.. mwahaoaoaho!

Thanks! Hahaha, it's just 110lb cardstock. And yes... the watercolor hated it. I had to put phonebooks on the scanner to keep the papers down, because they had curled so much they were popping up the scanner lid D: arrrr!!
But thank you ^-^ I think watercolor just requires a little practice.. and a lot of guts to possibly screw up your picture xD haha

Hahaha, I'm glad you appreciate ;v; You always do a bangup job with the real medias xD I would've really liked to use my cro-quill instead of the inking pens, but.. the cardstock barely stood up to the watercolor, and would've balked at that @w@;; I'm not sure how I'll do the rest of my entries.. but we shall see~! mwehehe

Cool another of your chaacters, can't wait to see him in action, and I'm loving the style you decided to go with, nice, dark feel.
What areas did you use the gouache on? I recently got some in my colleges art kit and I don't really know what to do with it XP.
Figured you could give me an idea of how to use them

Hehe, thank you! And yes.. his whole world is very grungy and dark, and so he definitely fits in this steampunk environment pretty well...
Ah! But Goache.. The white. Is. amazing. Works incredibly better than white ink and whiteout put together, when using over top of ink. And you can ink back over top of it, since it's very matte. So that's what I use that for.. but, goache is very good to use with watercolor, not while it's wet, but afterwards if you want some very vibrant very opaque colors in any areas. I'm not that into the medium to use it exclusively in a painting, but I find it's very good for touchups :3
