Daisy didn’t know what to do with herself, she was already adept at all the sports known to man, or at least those that Mario had introduced to the mushroom world so far, there has had to be another thing she could excel at, she pondered this question while looking out the window of her castle when a pamphlet flew all the way from her kingdom’s streets and into her face. “pfft! What’s the big ide--!!” her growling stopped after she took a closer look at the piece of paper, it wrote about a racing tournament, one where pairs drove cars powered by emotion, specifically the one the copilot feels for the pilot, because of this it is recommended that the pairs have strong feelings for each other. “What is this…? It sounds like a joke, but…”, Daisy was curious, she really wanted to enter this tournament and see what it is about, but who could she enter it with? “I’m not really into this lovey dovey crap, that is more Peach’s thing, whoever am I gonna—” The princess stopped and blushed, remembering that there is one who could fit the bill… though she’d be caught dead before she admitted to it.

The next day a letter came into the Mario brother’s house with the royal Sarasaland Kingdom seal addressed specifically to Luigi, it detailed that the Princess of the kingdom needed him to participate in a racing tournament with cars powered by fighting spirit, or else the kingdom will explode (for some reason or other). Luigi afraid but always the hero like his brother, accepted the proposition and joined the tournament with Daisy.
