"...I'm really scared."

In light of the DVD release of Adventure Time season 5, I've drawn a lot of Ice King/Simon Petrikov pictures. Sorry in advance. I just really, really love the Ice King's backstory. And the Ice King in general.
Of all of the aforementioned pieces, though, this is my favourite. I liked it so much that I actually bothered to colour it, which is a rare thing for me.
For those of you who don't recognize where this is from, it's my rendition of a scene from "Holly Jolly Secrets Part II". Simon is in stage two of his transformation into the Ice King. No beard or long nose yet, but his skin is beginning to turn blue, his hair is growing and turning grey, a little bit of stubble is growing and his body temperature is lowering. The line from this scene that I used for the title really resonates with me because of the way it's delivered in the episode. His voice gets really quiet and you can hear the fear in it really clearly. It always tugs at my heart a little.

This piece took a little under two hours to complete. It's coloured with a combination of Crayola markers (used on Simon and the crown) and pencil-crayons (used on everything else) and outlined in thin black pen. I'm fairly happy with this one.
