"Because if you don't I'll have to make you." Matsuda said in a sing song voice, suddenly leaning down and blowing a raspberry on Light's stomach.

Still struggling to sit up though his giggling, Matsuda's words brought an odd blush to his cheeks, which he didn't have the brainpower to begin contemplating.
"What?! What's that--!? What are you trying to--"
He had no idea what Matsuda was doing when he bent down before it was too late. Light shrieked, falling back onto the couch and laughing at the ceiling.

Matsuda blows another, chuckling at Light's out of character laughter.

And Light shrieks again, his hands helplessly scrabbling at Matsuda's shoulders.
"PLEHEHEASE! MATSUDA!"

Matsuda shows mercy on his coworker, climbing off of the brown haired teen.

Light continued laughing long after Matsuda climbed off, only to sudden become aware and stifle it in embarrassment, hurriedly sitting up to stare wide-eyed at his attacker. He had just been at his mercy; but Matsuda didn't seem to want to get anything from it. He didn't understand.
"...What-- haha-- ...What was the point of that?"

"I told you Light; revenge for tickling me." Matsuda laughed.

Light stared at him, blinking in thought. His embarrassed Β flush returned.
"...You were playing with me."

"In a sense, yeah. I guessed you could use a stress relief too." Matsuda shrugged.

Light sat up, thoroughly emasculated, trying to regain composure.
"...That's... nice. If unwarranted. You don't have any hard feelings about my, er. Provoking you?"

Matsuda shook his head. "Nah, we're good Light."

A moment passed. Light chuckled, awkward but genuine.
"You really don't have a malicious bone in your body, do you Matsuda?"

Matsuda flushed and shrugged. "I don't know. I've never really had a reason to have one."

"Very modest. That's just like you."
He sat on the edge of the couch, inconspicuously rubbing his stomach to ward off the lingering ticklish feeling.
"Or is it that you consider us friends?"

Matsuda smiled innocently. "I consider you Β friend, though I understand if you don't feel the same."

Light had to fight to stop his mouth from falling open. Surely this was another ruse to get him to lower his defenses. And yet, against his better judgement...
"... That's not what I meant. Of course I do. You've always been the most agreeable out of anyone. And we're so close in age compared to the others, we're basically peers. Well. Nearly, ha ha."

Matsuda laughed too. "Yeah, I suppose you are right about the age thing." He said.

He nodded, deeply unsure of what to say.
"... I won't tell father if you won't."

Matsuda nodded. "I agree with you on that one. The guys would totally gang up on us. Heck, I'll bet even L would find away to put in his two cents."

Apparently, Light hadn't thought of any of that, and within two seconds his blush returned full force and he swallowed nervously.
"Right. Well. It'll be our little secret, then. Is that fair?"

Matsuda nodded. "Definitely." He then smiled in a mischievous, but lightly shy manner. "And if it's gonna be our little secret..." He pounced on Light again, wiggling his fingers into his belly.

Light barely had time to react, which was just a look of horrified anticipation before Matsuda was on him, and he burst into helpless giggles, pushing at the older boy with his hands.
"Hahaha--! Matsuda! This isn't profehehessional! Ahaha!"

"No one's gonna know, remember Light?" Matsuda chuckled, wiggling his fingers into Light's stomach in an almost expert manner.

Matsuda's dexterous tickling quickly amped up Light's reaction, which went from almost amused giggling to wide-eyed, open-mouthed laughter. He kicked his legs and pushed at Matsuda's shoulders, his sensitive belly quivering under Matsuda's fingers.
"I KNOW, hahaha! But it TICKLES! HAHAHA! Please!"

"I don't hear you telling me to stop." Matsuda chuckled as he leaned down, suddenly blowing a raspberry on Light's stomach.

Even if he wanted to, Light couldn't tell him anything. He screamed with laughter, his heels thumping against the cushion as he kicked.
"GAHAHAHAHA!"

Matsuda moved his fingers up to Light's armpits. "I didn't know you could be this sensitive Light."

Light was too overcome to think about much else but the tickling, and stupidly used the scant time he had to talk to answer, even though it was a colossal tactical mistake.
"Only my sister knew! Ahaha, wait-- BAHAHA!"

Matsuda laughed. "Haha, I could believe that." He said tickling away at Light's armpits.

Light howled. Despite turning side to side what little he could, there seemed to be nothing he could do to get Matsuda's fingers out of his underarms. He was made to lay there and take it, unable to do anything to get free...but somehow, he minded it less. There was a strange feeling of deep elation welling in him, and it almost scared him. He redoubled his efforts to get away, lifting a hand to try and push Matsuda away-- only for Matsuda's fingers tickling his exposed armpit to be even more unbearable, and he immediately snapped his arm back to his side.
"AHAHAHAHAHA! WAIT! JUST WAIT! HAHAHAHA!"

Matsuda couldn't help but laugh at Light's laughter stricken state. It was almost adorable how the normally serious and collected like was reduced to a begging, laughing puddle by just a little wiggle of his fingers. Matsuda dig his fingers into Light's armpits and tickled viciously. "You seem to be enjoying this."

The merciless tickling touched nerves he didn't know he had. Light's fingers and toes curled he shook, but there was ultimately no getting away from Matsuda's hold. He could only shake his head in response, though it probably did little to dissuade, given his raucous laughter and wide smile.
"EEHEEHEEHAHAHA!"

Eventually, Matsuda takes mercy on his coworker, stopping and rolling off him to sit on the couch next to him.

Light lay panting, a permanent smile plastered on his face. He couldn't even wipe the tears away from his eyes.
"Aha, hahaha....haha..... Why...?!"

Matsuda chuckled. "Because it's actually a little funny hearing you laugh like that."

Light sat up on his elbows, still coughing out chuckles.
" 'Funny?' I never-- haha-- took you for such a sadist, Matsuda. Are you KIRA?"

Matsuda rolled his eyes. "Yes Light, KIRA would certainly try to TICKLE someone to death." He chuckle, leaning back and closing his eyes, arms comfortably behind his head.

Light sat up, holding his heaving stomach. He couldn't help himself but eye Matsuda's exposed midriff, though he watched carefully for signs of treachery.
"Technically we don't know how he kills. It's either you're KIRA, or you would seem to be flirting with me."

Matsuda's cheeks flushed, and his eyes snapped open. "N-Now why would you think that?"

"You keep complimenting my laugh. Not to mention, you're touching me a lot, and claim to not be malicious about it. I'm younger and less experienced than you, but that's the only conclusion I can present."

Matsuda squirmed uncomfortably. "I could say the same about you Light. if you and Misa were not a thin, then I'd accuse you of doing the same."

This prompted only an eyeroll from Light, who tapped the couch arm irritably.
"We're not a thing. That's for appearances, Matsuda, remember? Do you honestly think Misa-Misa is my type?"

"Well no. She's a bit too...loud." Matsuda wasn't sure how to describe the model.

"Completely obnoxious."
Light side-eyed the young detective, thinking to himself in quiet. Until, after a moment, he reached out and squeezed Matsuda's side right by his ribs.

Matsuda squeaked, jerking away with bright giggles flowing from his lips. "LIHIHIHIGHT!"

Instantly, Light grinned. He scooted close, poking and prodding at Matsuda's sides and belly.
"What's that? I thought laughing meant you enjoyed this, Matsuda. You should cheer up."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA LIGHT!" Matusda squealed and struggled.

But Light didn't obstruct Matsuda's movements, merely toying with him, sitting close with their legs touching and testing out his sensitive spots with careful hands.
"I'm sorry, I can't understand you. Did you say 'Don't stop?' Well, if you say so, Matsuda. I am your junior, after all."

Matsuda giggled and laughed hysterically. "NOHOHOHOOHEHEHEHEHEHEHEK!" He squealed.

Light smirked. He'd forgotten everything else. It was tremendously gratifying to have Matsuda turn to jelly beneath his hands, and the young man had an adorably childish laugh. He let his hands veer away from his ribs, kneading and tweaking Matsuda's belly and hips.
"No? I'm not your junior? I'm afraid you're wrong, there. I'm eighteen and you're, what? Twenty-five? Is that right?"
