Watercolor, Acrylic, and Colored pencil.

This is a painting I've been working off and on for the past few months. Honestly, I love the colors (and flowers...omg flowers!), but there really isnt all that much going on in it that I really care for. :/ Kinda whimsical...thoughtful...blaaaah

My BS statement about this piece: Growing up I believed that I was "not the brightest crayon in the box", or was "dim and rather dull". It wasnt later that I realized that I was judging myself based off of a box of crayons and that in the whole grand scheme of things.....everyone is different. Everyone has has their own set of goals, strengths, weaknesses, talents, etc. To judge ourselves based off of others talents and dreams is like comparing an orange to the Titanic: it's a poor comparison. I needed to embrace my inner uniqueness (or colors in this instance) that adds brilliance to my daily life. Anyway, in short: know your gifts and talents and use them to do or create something new and beautiful.
