I didn't felt too great lately for more reasons and I was unable to focus as usual.
Anyway, I had this done a while ago and it took me a very long time. Not only that it went slow but I had abandon it 2 times before getting it done and even now I still feel that it's not quite ready. Maybe some day I will get back to it, but now I have no more patience

wow, this piece is incredible, i saw the blue on the bottom in small icon form and it instantly drew me to it, then as i full-viewed i realized how i understand this piece so incredibly well...(dreams have always had a very huge impact on my waking life), even the title...fits perfectly.

This is truly an amazing piece. How did you do this? Photoshop? Illustrator? Ink? Watercolor? Anywho, I really love it. I love the texture on the walls of the room including the lighting.
I have to ask, are the "textures/lines" on the walls supposed to reference her scratching the walls in her sleep because she feels like she's really drowning? I just wanted to ask that. Probably pointing out the obvious or completely off knowing me, lol.
I love the composition, and the style is unique. Very well done! I hope you get the chance to work on it again at some point, maybe not right now but eventually because I think it could go a little further

O.O this is so haunting...especially because I had a dream just like this last night! ^^ The transition of colors from warm to cool is fantastic, but you have to wonder if the warmth is what she is safe in or wants to escape from. Very thought provoking.
I know everyone else is faving this, but I have to do so as well!

I love the warmth of the room, and the traumatic consciousness of the dreaming lady, trying to grasp towards the surface; The comfort being home, resting.
There is a fine sense of form and perspective, and the the change in the density of the backgrounds texture from above to below, effectively extend the impression of 'the softness of sleeping' v.s 'harsh nightmares'.
It's a great idea, and i am very impressed by the result.

This is fantastic! I love this concept and the contrast between the two images of the girl. I'm crazy ocean obsessed so i can freakishly relate XD All of the work you've put into the detail is exquisite and I love how the fish mobiles on the top connect the sleeping girl to the one of her underwater.
