I started sketching this in early April.

Oddly enough, the idea came as a Midnight (although more like 8 AM) Flash Of Inspiration. Anyone who's had one of those knows they don't come very often and it's not a good idea to ignore them. This was the first time trying to draw something completely from scratch, rather than tracing lineart made by someone else, and I think it came out pretty good. It took like 2 hours to get a sketch on paper and then more tracing everything on the computer and getting it until I was satisfied with the way it looked.

I tried a bunch of new techniques: Their feathers are a lot more detailed, and their bodies have fur, although it's not that obvious. I also tried a new drawing style for the eyes, and really like how it came out. 303 Layers!

I don't think this needs a mature tag, there's nothing explicit or sexual about it.
