Gorgeous mermaid that I've also sketched during my last trip in France ! I tried to make a ... "rococo/victorian" looking mermaid, not easy ! XD ! Anyway, I think she's just simply lovely ! Made with acrylic and ink on 11x14 paper.Related content

I'm sitting here looking through your gallery and I see this marvellous piece that doesn't look like anything else you've drawn. I think this is an amazing piece and I adore the colors. In some ways your art remind me of my own. We're both traditional artists and I too combine fantasy subjects with historical fashion sometimes. Most of the time I draw historical clothing, like rococo robes etc. I find your art very inspiring!

i can see the rococo undertones. I think you were very successful at displaying the rococo characteristics such as the playful details and light pastel colors. Also, the body physique is very stylish to the victorian era as well. Excellent job
