It's been a while, but I remember walking thru the forest surrounding Lake Rotorua and coming upon this spot, which to me, had the look and feel of a sacred space. As I came closer, it became clear that the space had been used for quite earthly pursuits. I had to remove a carton full of empty grog cans before I took the picture and I carried the rubbish several miles, before I found a bin to put it in. Some people are just dirty!
