“Shepherds of Time” is a painting I repainted by hand based on the composition of an ai rendered prompt. It’s fascinating to see what can be learned from studying these artworks. For example, shepherds rods were common imagery associated with angels, which is a symbol from 18th century art that I hadn’t considered before. Not to mention the creative inclusion of the cherubim angel that it looked like the ai tried to create, which is not commonly depicted in the art period I prompted it for.
