I think this is cute mabye this is what happend but what bothers me is that in the finale Β episode Pacifica is a big jerk again. I donte get it why is she a big jerk again i thought in the episode Northwest mansion mystery Dipper changed her so why is she a big jerk agein?

According to the Wiki, Pacifica's snarky attitude was a coping mechanism
that she was using to better deal with the chaos that was happening around her.
(and, after what happened to her parents, one can see why she'd be so stressed.)

Β A person can't change there entire attitude on just one event alone. Yes, Dipper showed her that she didn't have to be like her parents, that she could do the right thing, but remember Pacifica had lived all her life learning her parent's way of thinking. To change that would mean work and dedication. Im not saying that she couldn't have been doing that, all im saying is that it would be pretty weird to have a complete personality change in such a short time.Β

True. even when one resolves to become a better person after a lifetime of bad behavior,
one can't just flip a switch, and instantly change into a different person just like that.
I view the reformed Pacifica as being like Scrooge McDuck from DuckTales.
Yeah, Scrooge is stupid rich, and can act Greedy on more than a few occasions.
but, even Scrooge has morals, and a code of ethics that he follows that makes him a better person.
Not the BEST person, but certainly better than 'Flintheart Glumgold', who IS Greedy and Selfish.
So, to put it simply. Pacifica IS a good person now.
but, she can briefly relapse to her former behavior on occasion.
