One beautiful morning.The sun rose up.
Devon was sleeping in his room.
He opened his eyes slowly with a smile on his mouth.
Devon gets up.
DEVON: *yawns* *stretches* That was a good sleep.
DEVON: Wonder what today is...
He looks at the calendar and sees it is November 14th!
DEVON: *gasps*
Today is Devon's Birthday!
DEVON: Oh my god!
DEVON: I'm now 16 years old!
DEVON: Wait... Let me get dress first.
Devon went into the bathroom.
5 minutes later...
He was now fully dressed.
DEVON: Welp, it's time for me to let my friends know what today is!
Devon leaves his room.
He sees Jonathan & Carter holding a banner.
DEVON: Hey guys.
JONATHAN: Oh hi Devon.
CARTER: What's up?
DEVON: Doing good. Can u two guess what today is?
CARTER: Oh yeah! It's your birthday!
DEVON: Yup. What are u guys up to?
JONATHAN: Ummmmmm....

CARTER: We got this banner for your surpri-
Jonathan covers Carter's mouth.
DEVON: What?
JONATHAN: What Carter was trying to say is that we got the banner for....
JONATHAN: A welcome sign!
DEVON: A welcome sign?
JONATHAN: Yea we were gonna put it outside right by the mat.
DEVON: Ummmm.... okay then.
JONATHAN: Yup. See u later!
They both ran off.
DEVON: That was... odd..
DEVON: Wonder what the others are doing.
Devon walks around.
Next he sees Noah, Cat, & AJ in the living room setting up the balloons.
AJ cleverly sucks the helium from the balloon.
AJ: *in helium voice* Hey guys. How do i sound?
NOAH/CAT: *laughs*
AJ: *in helium voice* *laughs*
DEVON: Hi guys.
AJ: *in helium voice* Hi Devon!
DEVON: *laughs* That's really good AJ!
AJ: *in helium voice* Thank u.
DEVON: *stops laughing* *clears throat* So what are u guys doing?
CAT: Oh ummmm....
NOAH: We were... making balloons so we can set them free.
AJ: *in his normal voice* Yep.
DEVON: Ok then...
Devon walks away.
DEVON: This is starting to get strange...
Just then, he sees Sonia & Elena talking to someone on their phones.
DEVON: Hmmmmmm... i wonder who they're talking to on the phones...
SONIA: Okay. Thank u. I'll see u when u get here.
ELENA: Make sure u keep it as a surprise from Devon until it's time.
ELENA: Alright. thank u. See u then.
Sonia & Elena hangs up their phones.
Devon walks up.
ELENA: Oh hi Devon.
DEVON: Did u girls say something about a surprise-
SONIA: Sorry Devon. That's for us to know and u to find out.
DEVON: Oh okay.
He walks away.
DEVON: I don't understand. What's going on?
Last, he sees Jaylin & Samantha setting up the snacks and drinks on the table.
JAYLIN: Alright Samantha as soon as the snacks and drinks are all set up, we can-
SAMANTHA: Uhhhhh... Jaylin.
JAYLIN: Yea?
She points to Devon.
DEVON: What's going on Jaylin and Samantha?
JAYLIN: Ummmmmm... we were.... ummmm....
SAMANTHA: We were putting the snacks and drinks on the table because, there was no more room to put it at.
JAYLIN: Uh yea, so that we can get it from the table.
DEVON: *sighs* Okay that makes sense.
He walks away.
A few hours later...
Devon was in his room.
DEVON: This was an odd day.
DEVON: My friends were acting strange around me and they won't tell me what's going on...
DEVON: *sighs*...
Elena enters his room.
ELENA: Hey Devon.
DEVON: Oh... Hi Elena.
ELENA: U okay?
DEVON: No... Everyone's been hiding something from me...
DEVON: But they wouldn't tell me what it is...
ELENA: It's okay Devon. I'm here for u.
Elena hugs Devon.
DEVON: Thanks Elena.
ELENA: U know Devon. There's something i gotta show u.
DEVON: What is it?
ELENA: You'll see. Come with me in the living room.
DEVON: Ok.
They both leave the room.
The living room was dark and everyone was hiding.
Devon & Elena came in.
DEVON: Wait. Why is the living room dark?
ELENA: It's a surprise!
DEVON: A surprise?
ELENA: Yep.
The lights turns on.
Everyone comes out.
DEC/JOSH/HIKARU/JONATHAN/NOAH/SONIA/CARTER/CAT/AJ/JAYLIN/SAMANTHA: SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DEVON: *gasps* WOW!!!!
NOAH: Yep! We were planning a surprise party for u earlier today!
ELENA: That's why we had to keep it a secret from u.
DEVON: Oh that explains it.
DEC: Yep. And now we can have the party of our lives!
SAMANTHA: WAIT! Before we do that, we have to sing Happy Birthday to Devon.
ELENA: Oh yeah that's right.
ELENA: Devon, go to the table and we can gather around and sing Happy Birthday to u.
DEVON: Sure!
Devon was sitting at the table with a cake infront of him that said "Happy 16th Birthday Devon!" with birthday candles number 1 & 6.
Everyone gathered around by him.
DEVON: The cake looks nice!
AJ: It sure does dude. It sure does.
ELENA: Everyone ready?
DEC/JOSH/HIKARU/JONATHAN/NOAH/SONIA/CARTER/CAT/AJ/JAYLIN/SAMANTHA: Yes.
ELENA: Okay.
ELENA: 1... 2... 3...
DEC/JOSH/HIKARU/JONATHAN/NOAH/SONIA/ELENA/CARTER/CAT/AJ/JAYLIN/SAMANTHA: Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Devon! Happy Birthday to you!!! WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
DEVON: Thanks u guys! U know it's nice to have a birthday when your with friends.
JOSH: Thanks Devon. We're always gonna be here for u man.
DEVON: Thanks Josh.
JOSH/DEVON: *fist bumps*
DEVON: Dec, we've been best friends for as long as we can remember. I wanna thank u for coming on my birthday.
DEC: Hey, what are friends for?
DEC/DEVON: *high fives*
DEVON: Hikaru, Thank u for coming. When we first met each other, we got to be friends like right away! You've always been me and Dec's favorite character from Exo-Force, a face/visual of the group, but most importantly, you will always be a tomodachi. That means friend in Japanese.
HIKARU: Arigato, Devon-Hyung.
DEVON: Anytime.
DEVON: And guys, thank u for being there with me for 16 years now.
JONATHAN: No problem.
NOAH: Anytime bro!
SONIA: Thanks.
CARTER: Thank u.
CAT: No problem Devon.
AJ: Anytime man!
JAYLIN: It's a pleasure.
SAMANTHA: What more is there to say? You're welcome.
ELENA: We'll always be here for u Devon because we are like a family.
DEVON/ELENA: *hugs*
DEVON: Thanks everyone.
DEVON: Now time to blow out these candles.
DEC: Before u do that, make a wish my friend.
DEVON: Of course.
Devon closes his eyes and blows out the candles.
DEC/JOSH/HIKARU/JONATHAN/NOAH/SONIA/ELENA/CARTER/CAT/AJ/JAYLIN/SAMANTHA: *claps*
DEVON: Hopefully the wish will come true someday.
DEVON: But for now..... LET'S PARTY!!!!!!!!
Everyone parties on during the night.
Later, Dec, Josh, & Hikaru were about to leave and said goodbye to Devon & his friends.
They said goodbye to them back.
Devon was in the room in bed with the gifts from his friends.
He had the best, unforgettable birthday and can't wait to see what will happen next year when he turns 17!
