SONIA: We've both known each other in elementary school since we were kids, have slumber parties at each other's places, and we would always have karate classes together on the weekends.
SONIA: But sometime for awhile now...I've been keeping this as a secret...
SONIA: I wanted to tell you all the right moment but I just couldn't find the perfect time...
SONIA: I felt nervous and scared at the same time on the inside.
SONIA: But then, she came up and comforted me.
SONIA: At that point, we started to develop "feelings" for one another...
SONIA: I have already told my family today and they understood everything about me and her as they all still showed love and support.

ON THIS DAY AUGUST 10TH, 2022, SONIA APREDA AND EMMA GARCIA BECAME A COUPLE REPRESENTING THE LGBT COMMUNITY.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, ONE OF THE BIG AND MAIN TEN OF THE TWOD COMMUNITY COMES OUT AS THEIR ROMANTIC ORIENTATION BASED ON THEIR IDENTITY.
THIS MEMBER JOINED THE TWOD COMMUNITY BACK IN MAY 2013.
IS KNOWN FOR HER MARTIAL ARTS SKILLS EXPERIENCES AS SHOWN BACK IN LAST YEAR'S MAXIMUS ENTERTAINMENT AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES IN THE KARATE EVENT.
SHE ALSO COMPETITED IN THE SURVIVEE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THREE SEASONS COMING IN 2ND BECOMING PROMOTED IN THE THIRD SEASON AND IS NOW CURRENTLY UP IN THE PREMIERSHIP FOR THE 7TH TIME IN A ROW WITH HER HIGHEST FINISH BEING 4TH.
THIS MEMBER COMPETITED IN SEASON X FINISHING IN 14TH OVERALL.
ALWAYS REMEMBER AND FORVER,
