Backstory (shortened): Her and Amber’s parents were absolute psychopaths, but managed to have two daughters: Amber, the younger, and Deva, the older, both born as Wood Elves. Their parents were actually insane enough to test the extremely dangerous spells they crafted on their daughters, who had no choice in the matter. Deva was turned into the goddess of darkness and the dead, and later a Dark Elf; Amber was turned into the goddess of fire, and later a High Elf. Both were made immortal. In their mid teens, Deva at sixteen and Amber at fifteen, the sisters bound themselves both to the same sword, one of the ones their father had imbued with yet another incredibly risky bit of magic. Dangerous though it was to bind more than one person to a weapon, especially two so young, they made it work and managed to kill their parents with combined effort. They stuck together after that for a short time before parting ways. Deva went to the ancestral home of the Dark Elves and quickly moved up among them, now on their High Council. One of the things she had to do to make it on the council was a strong feat of magic- and she did. She created the Children of the Night, although she has never liked them all that much. Despite this, most of them still praise her and treat them as both their mother and their queen. She also joined the Rebellion and formed a strong friendship with Alex- and a stronger distaste for Lillian Cipher, especially after the demon joined the Rebellion as well. She is the leader of the Rebellion's archers, and is personally responsible for many of its successes against the Sanguis de Sororibus. She remains an active member of the Rebellion to this day.
