One of the downsides of coming back to life after twelve years: Arukenimon has lost the height advantage. Being 5′9″ used to mean something - namely, being nearly a head taller than Ken Ichijouji and being able to look down on him literally. Now he’s nearly a head taller than her, and so are half the Chosen Children, up to and including the third grade runt. How the mighty have fallen.Iori is reminded of being 15 and having to console Daisuke and Miyako when he passed them in height after a massive growth spurt. He’s sensible enough not to mention that to Arukenimon.

I know it's pretty late to say it, but truth be told, demonoflight, (is it okay to call you by your other name here, ''Shai''?), I have to say it was your drawings that made fall in love with Arukenimon as a character and will be the subject of a story I plan to write later this year, as part of a larger re-write of Digimon Adventure 02, and Arukenimon/Archnemon will be portrayed more than what the show intended her for, and some of your drawings featuring her, particularly the ones where she is without her hat or shades, are really wonderful and gave me a few ideas on how to handle the romantic aspects between her and Mummymon. I really can thank you enough for it, Shai, and how much you've inspired for my take on the character, as well as showing how a cool woman character she is!!!
I had some ideas on how to humanize her and your drawing material played a big part in that.
The first part of my DA 02-Redux may introduce her at the end, but is mostly about my attempt at the rivavlry of Digimon Kaiserin Miyako and the Digimon Kaiser Ken (don't ask, it would be a long story, unless you want to hear more of it), as Miyako is now my favourite character and I support Kenyako for my own reasons, and somewhere across the line, I decided to focus on Archnemon, and delve more into her character. Kaiserin Miyako is from another villain, not Vamdemon possessed Oikawa controling Miyako as well, but I won't talk much about it as it will make not some much sense.
Anyway, I hope you will do more of these drawings, as Arukenimon without the hat and shades is just beautiful You really made see her under a different light!! Keep them going!
