Part two of the “Sekai bonds with his favorite Chosen Children kids” series! Following part one .

Ken and Miyako’s older son, Toushin, is also one of Sekai’s besties, though he’s a year and a half older - Sekai’s really good at making friends, regardless of age. Their first meeting is during the Japanese Chosen’s annual spring picnic in 2027, depicted in the 02 epilogue. Arukenimon and Mummymon have an open invitation to these events, but it’s too much of a social affair for Arukenimon, by which I mean Ken is there and they’d both rather not be in each other’s presence if they can help it. She only agrees to come that year because Sekai finally gets wind of the event’s existence (entirely Yoshiya’s fault); she can withstand Mummymon’s sad pout to a certain degree, but add her son’s big sad puppy eyes to the mix and she’s done for. Her (and Ken’s) worse fears come true when Sekai hits it off instantly with Toushin, and now Arukenimon and Ken can never avoid each other ever again.

Here’s Sekai introducing himself to Toushin and his Minomon, because Toushin is too shy to make the first step. They’re both giant sweeties so they like each other already.
