Today is 's birthday! She is old. But not too old. Then again, I consider myself old right now and I just turned 22 yesterday, so I have a skewed view on the concept of age.

SO ANYWAY. Since this is her birthday and I luffers her to bits and pieces 'cause she's an awesome friend, I decided to draw her something she'd like. And she likes Doctor Who, especially the Second Doctor and his clingy, adorable male companion, the 18th century Scotsman Jamie McCrimmon. So I drew 'em. Kinda. I tried!

Jamie's kilt is all sorts of wrong (it's a McGregor tartan!!! THE HORROR), but to be fair, he's been shown to wear it in canon and family tartans is a 19th century thing, and he's an 18th century kid. I think all the colors are wrong, really. But this is 60's Doctor Who, I didn't exactly have a lot of color references. I'm more concerned that they don't look like their actors enough!

Of course they're touching. They wouldn't be Two and Jamie if they weren't. I think Jamie hugs himself in the absence of other people to hug. He's clingy like that. In a cute way.

Oh. lol. Just realized the MacCrimmon Clan originates from the Isle of Skye. It is a funny, funny coincidence for reasons I shall not disclose.
