Alright, so I decided to revise this because why not? I wanted a new Godzilla character and this was the result. :U

EDIT: I decided to revise Jainrin's tail to make it a little more evident that he is spliced with alligator blood. Maybe the scutes are a little bigger than what they normally are, but hey, I had no reference. EDIT 2: I edited a few things, Jainrin's feet and hands and the teeth, but I also included him as a little baby~ <3 See him down there? The little tiny one by his foot~

EDIT 3: Huzaah it worked! I changed the file! Anyway, I added Akuji in there for bigger dinosaur comparison, and also I changed Jainrin's eyes to be more like a crocodile~

His hide is like tempered steel, and his hood is always flared out, though under certain lighting, his scales often reflect beautifully with a multi colored glisten. He tries to avoid cold conditions, but since he's actually warm-blooded, he won't lose energy in cold areas like common reptiles. And since he resembles a gigantic cobra, he also shares the anatomy of standard snakes, but holds more blood relative to his body size as apposed to how little standard reptiles possess. Also funnily enough, he can't unhinge his jaws like normal snakes, however his jaws can widen to a nearly 130 degree gape and stretch the ligaments minorly, and his jaw strength is relative to the strongest of that of any snake with exceptionally strong jaws.
