well sad as it is to say the need to comunicate intelligently has been replaced by the ease of saying cuss words, issueing threats, and following through on said threats. Honestly even those who like to use wit, sarcasm, or even pull on quotes find it easy to fall into this trap. Unfortunetly smart people can't just look down their noses at the ones who don't understand because then nothings going to be done to fix the problem and then even the supposed smart ones will find it difficult to pull out the really fun extentions of wit.
