The sound of fire crackling and the crunching of grass and leaves could be heard as Lemonade made his way through the wooded area in search of pets. He and his team had decided to somewhat split up in order to cover more area but agreed to not stray too far.
He slid down a small hill, using his torch to light up the surrounding area. So far he had found nothing. They had already been searching for quite a while so he was starting to get very very worried. The pets shouldn't be gone this long. Could those bandits from earlier this year be responsible for this? Or was it something entirely different?
The crunching of grass and leaves could be heard nearby, though, not his own. Was it one of the pets? He snapped his head towards the sound. He saw a flash of tan, was it one of the lost boos?
"Hello?" He called out, looking up the hill.
Kipp peeked over the bush at the top of the hill "Sorry! Its just me!"
Lemonade let out a sigh, "Find anything yet?
"Not yet" They said "I guess you haven't either then"
"No, only noise I've heard have been either you guys, our pets, or the other teams... nothing else"
"I'll fly back up then and see if I can find anything. I'll update the others too" Kipp said, stretching their wings then flying off.
Lemonade sighed, then began to look again.
