Wow, guys, this is such an honor, I'm SO happy to have this piece featured as a Daily Deviation! This photo caught my attention over all your other works (not that the others aren't as beautiful). It's because this piece evokes such a desolate and chest-tightening emotion that it draws the viewer into its overall depth. The setting-- inside a train, which speeds on through space-- could represent the constant passing of time, which, inevitably, will not stop even though the suffering is there. But it could also mean that it is not a permanent state of being, and that is what makes it so wonderful and poignant at the same time. The colors, washed with a deep set blue, is cold and lonesome. But despite this, there is that one evidence of hope-- or it could be of irony-- which you described as an advertisement on the poster, that fuels the human person to move on and cope with all this desperation.
In short, I loved it.
