Here comes the third devious trap of the obstacle course, the closing hallway! No cheap surprises here, just a sheer test of speed. But it looks like only one of these princesses had the quick feet required to not get pressed flat between the narrowing walls. And as soon as she was trapped, the walls only pushed harder and harder into each other until there was absolutely no space left in between! Now Peach has the lead again, and she's determined not to lose it this time! Let's just see how that goes for her...===
This is where the planning of the gags started getting a bit complicated for me. I wasn't sure if I wanted Daisy to pass Peach completely after she got squashed last, or to have her just catch up. I decided catching up would be better so that they could have more rivalrous dialogue exchanges. But of course, by doing that, I had to separate them again. So this closing hallway only allows one princess to leave with her depth!
