Description

Hat cards and helmet cards have been in fashion for larpcostumes for some time now. They are usually either devotional icons or pinups. I wanted a playing card on my gunner's helmet instead.

My last pack of loose tea had a piece of cardboard in it that had the perfect shape and size. So I went to town with some acrylics.

I did a wee bit of reasearch and apparently wands represent fire, which fits the character's profession well. Also, in the German deck the Queen used to be called "Ober", so my queen card is marked with an O.

Appart from that I have not much to tell you. I was inspired by Codex Manesse style illustrations, even if the clothing she wears are a bit later. I still need to attach it to my kettle hat.
