Personality
Cinna's head is pretty empty and not just because it's made of glass. She seems oblivious to the moods of people around her, especially struggling to understand that she might come off as spooky to some and instead trying to befriend everyone with varying levels of success. What she doesn't know, however, can't hurt her - thus she keeps happily floating through the air even after someone yells at her. In the core, she's a kind pokemon, often trying her best to help others if she thinks it's needed, though even then her lack of situational awareness may cost her. What she thinks is helping might end up just making things worse without her understanding it at all.
Background
Zachariah ran into Cinna in an alleyway where he was badly startled by her. After she followed him home, his family helped him understand why Cinna was so keen on following him - after Zachriah's ex-boyfriend died, Cinna apparently picked up his lost soul for fuel at some point and because of it, now feels a strong connection to Zachariah. It took some contemplation and encouragement, but in the end Zachariah agreed to keep her.
During the Plague Dog outbreak, Cinna’s curiosity led her to wander into the Sewers. Zachariah lost track of her and she went missing for over a month, until Haile returned her to Zachariah, explaining they had found her in the Grand Vista Cemetery, badly hurt by what looked like a Plague Dog attack. She had also suffered severe radiation exposure which had mutated the feral from a Chandelure to a fusion of three ‘mon. She was still learning to use her new form, but Zachariah was beyond elated to have her back, promising to support her in any way he could.
Relationship with Zachariah
It's obvious that Cinna is very fond of Zachariah, never straying too far from him except when he heads outside. Zachariah, meanwhile, has highly conflicted feelings about Cinna - he does think that the pokemon herself is sweet and at times even cute, but it's still sometimes hard for him to hear the echo of his ex's voice from the Chandelure's flames. He's trying his best to be a good handler for her regardless.
Trivia
- Stands roughly at 3 feet / 91 cm at shoulder.
- Can reach up to 4 feet / 121 cm standing completely upright.
- Every once in a while, Zachariah may hear Roy's voice inside Cinna's flames. Cinna can also trigger the echos on purpose and tragically often uses it as an attempt to communicate, not really understanding it often ends up disturbing Zachariah. Besides him, only Kasimir and Haile can hear it, due to their heavy involvement regarding Roy's death.
- Some members of Zachariah's family have taken to drawing on Cinna's face with dryboard markers to give her funny expressions to help Zachariah feel more at ease with her.
- She's being trained to carry drink trays and also collect them at the bar Zachariah works at. She thinks it's a fun game!
- Zachariah and other members of his family often sprinkle cinnamon inside Cinna before a show night for good luck, hence how she got her name. It also makes the air smell fantastic!
- Likes to show affection with head bonks. Despite seemingly being made out of glass, her head is surprisingly sturdy and it’s not once or twice that she’s accidentally left a bruise behind.
- Zachariah is trying his best to train her to be gentler with her affection.
- Her markings and tail orb emit a flickering flame-like glow.
- The happier she is, the brighter they glow and vice versa.
- Not used to having legs and is still learning how to use them properly; she collides with things and topples over a lot.
- Capable of levitating a couple feet off the ground.
