After the immersions Anguirus the II in the year 1964 in Saudi Arabia came Varan. Varan is a large winged kaiju that has similar traits to monitor lizards and is believed to be a large species of monitor lizard that sports a large pair of wings. Varan is a rather curious kaiju and would observe something and decide whether it was a threat or not. If it was the former Varan will fire a concentrated beam of plasma that can cut through anything. If Varan needs to flee it will spread its wings and fly at super sonic speeds. Varan was discovered sleeping in the desert close to Saudi Arabia where he soon awakened and explored the city but not with the intention to destroy but to study the the structure me that were erected and the people who lived in the city. The newly founded K-Force immediately acted and used a powerful sedative to tranquilize Varan. After falling asleep Varan was transported to Monster Island where he now flies over the island and the surrounding seas around it.
