Description
Carcharadontosaurus is the largest theropod on the island. Large relatives of the Tyrannosaurus rex they have a fierce reputation of hunting large prey animals, such as sauropods like Brontosaurus, Diplodocus, and brachiosaurus. They use their long forearms and ragged teethe to shred and tear off flesh off of the gigantic animals, essentially eating them alive. Animals that survive the creatures initial attack are subject to bleed out and die of either the Carcharadontosaurus following it or infection. They are rarely seen around the island and some tribes often believe that the stories of the dinosaurs are myths. However, when a Carcharadontosaurus enters a new land it will assume the role of apex predator and will take out any competition. It is said that many of the more primitive tribes of the island are known to sacrifice their own or people from other tribes to these beasts believing them to be gods.
