I'm a fan of very subtle text. I would have instead opted to nix the "morning sky" text and limit it to a small, off-center "derektion.com" in allcaps. Other than my twxt quirkisms, it looks great.

I told ya bro, Cut the extraneous design work, you ran afoul after you painted the admittedly excellent clouds. [link] is quite overbearing on the otherwise delicate piece.

It's nice. Soft colours, inviting. But to be honest, I guess I'd expect you to use something more vibrant, or cutting edge. Regaurdless, it's good, and I like it. Hope the site goes well.
