Description A simple carved wooden token, with magical energies swirling around it. Holding it near a running hourglass causes the sand to hold still, and placing it on a sundial makes the time-telling shadow stop in its tracks.

These may be given out when 'Choose Anything' type gifts are given by the group! They may be used:

    -Immediately, to choose a gift in the current event;
    -At the Vaults Under the Mountain, redeemed for any item in the game;
    -In a usually random event such as Breeding or a Quest result, you may ask for up to three specific results guaranteed from the possible results (for example, a base color, a marking, or mutation possible from the parents, or a possible amount of a specific item, or rare drops from a quest);
    -On a previously-closed event, for event-specific items such as backgrounds, pets, or non-raffled-off event starter slots (reply to the DergonKeeper comment that said event is closed please!);
    -In breeding, as proof for a slot to a Starter dergon;
    -In the Underground Hatchery, to redeem it for an egg or specific geno (list the token as a proof of ownership!) Be sure to specify what markings or other traits you'd like. Tiered eggs requested can also have up to one specific marking per tier requested; it will, however, count against the randomly rolled marking number;
    -In the Underground Hatchery, to ask for a geno from a 'breeding' between two starters (or your dergon and a starter) of your choice, and one trait can be requested as a guarantee;
    -As proof of ownership for a semi-custom!

There are a few restrictions, however:
Items or genos gained directly from the use of these tokens may not be sold for real life currency or points! These tokens will only be given for free, and for one to make immediate profit off the given gift seems unfair.

    Tokens may not be used to ask for currency. These items have no set currency value, and trading them for such will be confusing all around.

    Specific genos or semi-customs created by a token, without random rolling, can have a maximum of 10 markings and mutations, combined; for example, a geno given Albino and Spiked can only have 8 markings; likewise, a chimera could have 9 markings, split between both sides. This is counted by genes, not marking names, so combination markings would count as two.
There's a maximum of ONE hom marking or body mutation. Super genes are not allowed.
Items can still be used to add more markings onto the geno after it's been created, just not through the original token use!

    Some starters are exempt from token use:
    Barlowe 056
(the list will be expanded as more event-specific or otherwise restricted starters are created.)
