Painted this for my brother in law for Christmas. It originated from a random photo on Google search (link to original photo found below) that my husband found. Both the husband and the bro-in-law have always loved Foo Fighters (Everlong was even supposed to be the song I walked down the aisle to, but eloping got in the way), and all three of us went to see them in 2016, so it seemed like a pretty dead-on choice. It's acrylic on canvas, full size is 15" x 30". I absolutely LOVE doing black and whites, it's been so long since I did one, but I had to keep the guitar in powder blue. It was my husbands idea, possibly one of his best! I added in the Foo Fighter logo to have a little more going on in the background. Overall I'm extremely pleased with it. The photo of the painting was taken outdoors during a moderately sunny day.
