While Sahasi was not the female heir that Janna had hoped for, he inherited her gentleness and wisdom and was a fine leader for the Tree of Life for the short time he was alive. Sahasi was betrothed to Ananda, a lioness he was familiar with and got along with for the most part prior to their engagement. His marriage to Ananda was a happy one and worked out well for the two, the two becoming quite fond of each other and being good parents to their children before passing away.
I'm not sure what ends up happening to him and Ananda, but I'm thinking some form of illness.
