I know Knuckles and, ironically, the Chaotix aren't asking any questions about how Eggman is still active after Eggperial City since finding the Babylon Rogues is their highest priority, but why do I still feel like I'm not being told the whole story? For instance, where is Eggman currently calling from? And more importantly, how did he survive in the first place?

All I know is there are going to be a lot of IDW Sonic fans clamoring to the writers of this comic series for a legit explanation.
