She's addicted to the music!Some of your may know I've got some heavy things on my shoulders at the moment. Much of my recent art has been inspired and is a channel for the feelings that come with that. This is no exception. Music has been my release.
Music is my drug of choice. Its amazing how much like medication music can be...
Have to say I dislike that awkward moment when someone asks 'so what music do you like?' and they list off chart bands, you have to explain what you enjoy and they look confused. Not that I don't love some chart stuff! But between computer games, folk, classical, soundtracks my tastes can be a bit eclectic
In general I love sweeping orchestral and moving pieces. I love to imagine when I listen and let the music dictate the colours and scenes in my head.
Saw Nobuo Uemastu concert live when Distant Worlds came to London, simply awesome. It's coming back again this year.
*ahem* So the picture. Yeah, shes just chewing her way through those wires XD Not sure what she's listening to but it might be your favourite tune!

I love how you seem to care about Music..it's wonderful. I write music, but regardless it's amazing to see someone seriously care and this is utterly beautiful and oh my god webster needs more words so I can accuratly describe how so wonderful (Other great adverbs) this is.

I'm sure you've probably had more than enough empathetic comments, but I can't just leave the page with a favorite and say nothing. I feel the same way about music. I do listen to a bit of everything - classic rock, techno and dubstep, country, indie - but I do also listen to orchestral pieces, especially piano instrumentals. Nobuo is one of my favorites, I have almost every song of his from the Final Fantasy series after the sixth game. You're so lucky that you got to see him in concert! I have another favorite pianist named Yiruma, you should look up some of his songs if you don't know him. At the moment, I'm listening to Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky - it's the theme to Mirror's Edge (same title as the Portal theme, different song. I thought it was so weird). If you've never played the game, you probably wouldn't know the song, but I adore the piano intro, as short as it is. [link] Just a few keys, but it's so beautiful.

Music, and horse riding are my therapy~ Both my horse and music help me come to terms with what I'm feeling, to sort out my thoughts without hurting myself more in the process. My horse is one of the few people I can confide in. He just looks at me with his big crazy, yet understanding, blue eyes and I feel like I can tell him everything I want, and he won't ever judge me for it. I talk to him while riding, and he just listens to my voice and cues quietly and smoothly. It's one of the greatest places to be, on horse.
Music, on the other hand, helps me focus on the better things in life. Like riding a horse, it takes my mind off things and gives me a reason to get back up after I've been thrown down so many times. It also dictates scenes and colors in my head. If only I knew how to convey them from my mind, heart, and down to the pencil and paper. >.< But I digress; music is just absolutely amazing.
*cough* Ok, I'm done being an emotional douche now.

Withput music I would be unable to draw. Music helps me get my mind off of things and helps me think of all the things I could draw. So yeah, I like this picture ^-^
