Working out how to understand and love yourself can be the most tricky of things. Like trying to solve a rubik's cube when you're colour blind.Sophie is colour blind, and is trying to figure out how to solve her cube, for her, her own identity feels like a cube with not enough sides...
Wanted to be quite simple with colours on this, not so happy with her eyes, but I enjoyed using all that blue!

Lovely piece. Discovered your Deviantart page this evening quite by happenstance, and I'm glad I did. You have a lovely style. I read about your struggles with depression and anxiety, and though I've not dealt with them on the same scale, I have a family member who has dealt with bi-polar depression and other complications, and I've seen how it can change a person, how it leeches away joy and happiness, motivation, and, in the most extreme cases, the will to live. Fortunately, she received treatment, and is doing well today. It's a testament to your inner strength that you sought, and continue to seek, help and guidance, as like any other major disease, it is most difficult, if nigh impossible, to overcome and control without therapy and medication. It can't have been easy, and any joy and peace you've since reclaimed, own it fiercely, as you've earned it. Keep earning it, and continue to tell your story through your art. I wish you every success on your path to mental and emotional wellness, and hope the words of support from all of us here will help buoy you when your sinking. Take care, DestinyBlue. This is so beautiful and impressive!! I really love how you used a Rubik Cube as being the game that explains the title, "I'm Complicated". I could never solve that puzzle. I always thought about taking the cube and peeling all of the stickers off and putting them back on each side just so I can pretend I solved it. I haven't done it yet.

This is very nice. This is just my interpretation but she has a specific color pattern inside that only a matching fit can make whole. We're all unique puzzles and poor Sophie can't solve hers because she's colorblind, or rather can't solve it because of other emotional trauma or problems she may be going through that "blind" her.
Welp, I got through life by cheating, lifting the stickers on the cube, placing them and hoping it makes sense in the end.

Bc you cant just put your name on something and say its yours XD this has been online since 2007. I know you didn't do it because it was made by a REAL artist. And then it was uploaded to the internet. All of your art on here is stolen and you could actually go to jail for that so you either delete it or get reported by hundreds of people :3

Um, putting your name on something does make it yours. It's how you prevent people from stealing from you. Also, If she didn't make it, who did? Can you prove all her art is stolen? Plus, if it has been on the internet since 2007, whose to say she didn't upload it? Cite your sources.

Ok so if I went to Tue museum and wrote my name on the Mona Lisa it would be mine XD nice to know. You can look at when this was uploaded and it was long after 2007. I've seen plenty of people on here who have put these photos up and called it there's.This is copying. Your stealing.On my phone I can click on an image and it goes to the very first one posted to the internet and gives me all the information of the photo, including edits and all other ones uploaded that look like it/were downloaded by other people. I have MY sources. You dont XD

That's completely different. You putting your name on the Mona Lisa will not make it yours, since everyone knows who created it and you would probably be arrested for vandalism if you did. I've reversed google searched this image and everything that came up was about DestinyBlue. You obviously don't know what you're talking about, and the fact that you won't cite sources proves it. Since you said you found the original picture of this, prove it. Give me the link to it. Until you can actually prove to me that what you're saying is true, I will not believe a word that you say.
Also, ever thought that the pictures you've seen are actually the ones that have stolen the picture from DestinyBlue? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to remove her signature from the picture, if that's the case.
Another thing, you said that i'm stealing. What have I done that warrants me as a thief? I have not stolen anything.

I see this as my Disablity.. Autism. It's so complicated to explain the symptoms. It's so complicated to figure out to understand, to be aware of. I love this drawing of yours.. It reminds me of myself in my daily life of being on the Autism spectrum.
