Description
She sees the world a little differently, fascinated by the life which occupies her clothing; though anyone else looking just sees a blue hoody and a girl daydreaming. What do you see?Dedicated to all the fascinating people I've met through my artwork, especially through conventions. They pop into my life for only a few moments really, but often leave deep impressions on me. Talking to so many people, with so many different backgrounds and lives and hopes for the future is very inspiring. People are a world, and I'm happy so many invite me to explore theirs. You all have such beautiful and creative minds. So this girls intriguing portrait is a homage to all you all
Peace, Love and finding magic in the ordinary,
~Blue x

It's really beautiful.
What I see is a girl full of wonder and imagination, daydreaming stuck in her own little world. Perhaps you drew a little piece of yourself into that girl?

I see a girl, wondering, while wearing a hoodie made of water, with goldfish swimming. It's beautiful.

Thanks, I'll do that! I've started drawing a few months ago, getting frustrated when I can't get something right or have it look good right away. I'll have to change the way I think bout that

no problem. Try tracing, I think it gets your hands going and it seemed to help me. Just don't post it on deviant art people get really mad when someone posts traced art.

Yeah, I've been tracing quite a bit. It actually helps a lot, learn a lot about the techniques. I also only trace bits of something I like, and draw the rest myself, making it more personal. I feel guilty tracing other's work though thanks for all the advice!

no problem. I traced for a whole year, this was before I found dA but it still helped. I also used books near the beginning. Over time you get your own way of drawing. Don't be limited to just manga style though. Trying realism and semi-realism would be good. I do it myself but I keep it of dA because I'm bad at it.

I'm just dropping by here to tell you that I bought a copy of this one from you at FanExpo in Toronto. It's a favorite piece of mine and I have hanged in my room and I love it. It was so great to meet you that day... you were so humble and kind. So thanks for that!

I see this as a science fiction style of clothing where water fills the interior, or at least the illusion of water through clever lighting, and maybe like CG fish in the clothing. That is my take on it

As with most things, it's all about perspective.
On to the review: It's been a while since I've taken a look at your pieces, and your skill shows as well as ever on this piece.
I do see how the arms could be slightly improved( a bit too...angled), but I think the fish are quite fine and I think the BG(or lack there of) helps with the surrealness of the piece and makes the subject pop out better.
As always, the piece is exceptionally well done.
