Her eyes draw you in but her expression says stay awayOkay, so, my April Fools: had a deeper meaning: there are some people who you SHOULDN'T listen to. No matter how honey laced their words. She is one of them. The Toxic Personality. This girl is a manipulator, engineering your world to cater for hers. Her needs come first and she'll guilt you into doing things for her. It's easy to not realise, to think she has good intentions and needs help, she's sweet when she needs to be, but really, she knows exactly what shes doing- using you.
These kind of people need to not be listened to. Value your worth and associate with people who appreciate it

I had to learn the lesson associated with this the hard way, although she never did anything extreme. All throughout middle school, she was constantly asking for favors, attention, friendship, love, and i did my best to give it all to her by being her best friend. In the end though, I was nothing to her- just some cheap entertainment that could buy her something once in a while until someone cooler came along. After a while, she moved away, and when I finally realized what she was doing to me, I cut off any ties I had to her, period. Sometimes I look back on it, and wish with all my heart that she had been true, that she had been better and kinder, but in the end she ended up the way she's always been- Toxic.
Don't let people walk all over you and push you around all the time, no matter how much you might think you're helping them be better. All you get in the end is heartache and frustration at being played like a video game.

Definitely one of my favourites. You caught the expression wonderfully, and I cannot agree with you more. Some people are toxic, and even though it's hard not to be ensnared in their words, it's worth fighting for.

OMG THIS IS EXACTLY THE PICTURE I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! I saw someone on YouTube using this as their avatar (hope that was you, or they were okay with you), and I was inspired by the picture, but I couldn't figure out what their channel link was to see the whole pic. I just saw their picture in my messages. I tried to save the image to disk and it worked and I was able to see the whole thing, but only small size. I even happen to have that little file open right now... Now I can close it, because now I have the link to the real deal instead.
This inspired me, so I wanted to be able to look at it big size. Now I can.

Looking at the piece, the most striking thing in it is the eyes... their color shows danger, yet you can't help but be entranced by them nonetheless...until you look closer.
The rest of the piece is well-drawn, as expected, but it's the eyes that truly get the message across as you've pointed out.

OMG, I went on about how great this pic was and never realized that their was a deeper meaning. I am sorry about that. Funny that you mentioned that expression because that was something that I forgot to mention in my first post... that I loved the expression on her face... especially the mouth!!!! Sometimes throwing your emotions into your work makes it have a great effect! There are a lot of users in the world... And even though you feel dumb when you have gotten used, you should not feel that way... Its almost always the good hearted people who end up being the victims.... The user picks those people out because they know that the nicer a person is, the more they will try and help you. Hopefully the person remains good hearted and kind. But if it happens too much, they lose some of that.... they end up losing their faith and trust in others. Its such a shame. I cant tell you how many times that I have been used, walked on or whatever... but its been so many that I lost count. It changed me because I felt like the whole world thinks I am stupid. The ones that have used me must have thought that and the ones that didn't use me but knew that I was too trusting or whatever...they had to think I was an idiot for putting so much trust in the untrustworthy... So it did change me for a long time. But I decieded that I liked who I was before. I like trying to find the good in people. Its just now I am a little more cautious, and I also realize that there are just some people that you cant find good in, no matter how hard you look... you cant find it because its just not there. Or in some people they may have a little good inside them... but its not worth going through all their drama to find to it. So those people you need to just cut out of your life and be done with them. Now its just time for you to be happy that you figured out what a loser that person was and you no longer have to put up with their garbage. And you have great artwork on top of that....

Some detail bits for this one the neck seems too smooth to me it needs some detail there which there can be many different types of neck for detail so might be good to look at peoples necks for different ideas.
The other bit the hoody looks zipped but the zip handle doesn't have much detail on it which it feels there should be? just these bits would give it that extra oomph!
Positive:
The face look so real! The shading is used really well in this different depths of shade. The expantion of different colours for eyes an interesting direction such bright illuminous colours for the eyes. The addition of Piercings nice touch something we don't see much from Miss Blue or tattoos a good example of adding these in is if you see Xiao Biao she mixes traditional with modern and pullss off the tattoos mixed in really well. There seems to be imperfections in this picture (how's this good i hear you say?) Well no person is perfect so there will be blemishes and not always simitry this seems to be put in deliberately. This will give extra character to your characters and make them slightly different. The Toxic symbols in the eyes seem to work they are done in the right way size, colour and shade! I can see this one might be popular with Naruto fans linked to the occular Jutsu Like Sharingan, Rinnegan or Byakugen. Lots to give off the theme of toxic the hair looking a little like toxic sludge the hood to make it look like a Cobra also the Toxic symbol and the bright colours that are often associated with toxins.
Summary:
Over all a really good piece lots of development lots of what we like to see and expect to see. lots of new bits thrown in also the subject pretty dark but from a caring place revealing something for people to look out for. Nice to see the Water mark is being placed in the artwork again in a different location and it just saying destiny blue cause i really feel this then doesn't disturb the feeling.
Personal Note:
This is something i can relate to people always try this and it's something i've become very good at spotting i think this will appeal to a lot of people again i think it will be a popular one. I hope this hasn't too you and it was observed of someone else. Really good advice and also some hint as to what to look out for aswell!
