Description
So after landing in Perth from Sydney, I did what anyone would do when they have a day off in a new town... drew! Haha, I actually drew the whole day -it's been awesome!
You guys seems to love seeing WIP's, I know this is nothing spectacular - but just a little peek behind the scenes
Actually the 'Virtual butterfly' thing has nothing to do with the final concept of this drawing, I was just playing round with colours and wanted to add something interesting to her face! ^-^ (which Β is why they look slapped on XD)
Thanks to everyone who made Supanova Sydney so epic, here's hoping Supanova Perth is getting ready for it's game this weekend!

Yeah, the depatment of education set up a deal xD i go to a punlic sporting high xD once i leave school, ima have to start paying for it. Theres another thing many people use, apparently its good, and i think its free, paint tool SAI whats itlike being homeschooled?

I just want to say that your art is not only beautiful, but I love how you give so much meaning to it. You manage to convey so much in pictures, putting feelings literally on my computer screen. But what I love the most is that you draw these things because you love to-- the contents of what you draw isn't designed only to please some internet majority, and that's only too common. I feel like you draw to share feelings instead of to impress, and that is absolutely perfect. In a word, your art is inspiring. I hope to be as talented as you someday.Β

god why so many layers ? i useally have like 2 for lineart 1 for grayscale and 1 for color.. XD am i doing something wrong ?

My sister usually uses around 9 or so layers. She uses them to separate colorings and shadings of different characters or parts of the same character so that as she is coloring she doesn't accidentally erase something that she has completed previously. Same with panel lines with comics. And a lot of alt-Z.
