She wears her hair down over her face, you ask her why, and she shows you. "I've never showed anyone else before". Then she tells you what she saw to changd her inside and out.You're going to have to make up your own mind what she saw...
I was just musing on how what I've seen has changed me, and what I've been through has shaped me, wondering if there was a physical sign of our lives on our bodies, what it would look like... I remember checking for grey hairs after a particularly frightening incident some years ago, I suppose we do get scars as we go through life, and tattoos like your own chosen marks. Mm.
I wanted her to look youthful, innocence lost, cute and creepy at the same time. The eye was really enjoyable but a challenge, wanted to make it looked like it was ripped apart and the the cracking extended outwards. Sorry, I know this isn't my best work, I don't have any extra time to dedicate to 'perfecting' at the moment, this kind of fell out of me upon musing about an upcoming event anniversary...
She wont tell you her name, so you call her 'Spider'. She likes it.

ooo this is soo cool!! you nailed the "youthful, innocence, lost, cute and creepy" look.
i love how it looks like the crack started in her eye and just radiated out from there. it goes really well with your description. sometimes things can start small, but they start affecting you more and more and it gets more and more noticeable. stress definitely takes a toll on you and starts showing physically, whether it's looking tired, greying hair, aching joints... i love how you represented the physical affect on her. it looks like half of her is still youthful, innocent, and full of life, but the other side is haunted and scarred. and i get the nickname "Spider", since her injury looks like a spider web. it's cute and fitting

This is beautiful. I love knowing that while what she's experienced has been life changing, she still finds the strength to smile and push forward through it all.

I love the way there is still a small smile on her face. She is ripped and torn apart but is strong enough to keep living, keep going. As I've mentioned before, I think it's amazing how you display so much emotion, pain, loss, happiness, love, everxthing in your pictures.

Whatever happened, I'm really sorry : ( It must have been a tragedy to create things of this magnitude. I love your art because it's always so true, so real. You don't draw just because you think something would seem profound if people wanted it to be, but you make art to show what you're really feeling. I've always admired people like you who can capture what they feel and what they think in a picture. My thoughts and feelings always seem too scattered to draw something that captures the depth of it. Your art is so good!
