She wears her hair down over her face, you ask her why, and she shows you. "I've never showed anyone else before". Then she tells you what she saw to changd her inside and out.You're going to have to make up your own mind what she saw...
I was just musing on how what I've seen has changed me, and what I've been through has shaped me, wondering if there was a physical sign of our lives on our bodies, what it would look like... I remember checking for grey hairs after a particularly frightening incident some years ago, I suppose we do get scars as we go through life, and tattoos like your own chosen marks. Mm.
I wanted her to look youthful, innocence lost, cute and creepy at the same time. The eye was really enjoyable but a challenge, wanted to make it looked like it was ripped apart and the the cracking extended outwards. Sorry, I know this isn't my best work, I don't have any extra time to dedicate to 'perfecting' at the moment, this kind of fell out of me upon musing about an upcoming event anniversary...
She wont tell you her name, so you call her 'Spider'. She likes it.

Funny that I ended up seeing this work after being traumatized by a horrible picture I saw online.. lol I sound like a 15 years old. But really I understand what you mean. It's certainly not as important as what this girl saw but well... it... moved me. I feel different because I thought I couldn't get hurt by a picture anymore! I guess I was wrong.

You definately managed to get the youthful look down and I love the detailing to the cracking in and around her eye and cheek. So eerie and yet I feel like I could just hug her! I particularly like the light shades of purple on her face especially just under her eyes

Spider looks beautiful to me. She looks a little bit like a young doll. Could you imagine the stories a doll could tell of what some of them have been through?
