Description
So here was my other piece for the TFCON 2012 art contest, which I finished on July 21st. It's a scene from TFA: A Fistful of Energon featuring Prowl and Lockdown (with a space poncho!
). I even added the tow Starscream clones and a little graffiti.This took first place!
I was so excited! I guess everybody loved it. One of the TFCON staff, the customizer, Nemesis Predaking seemed to really like it. I guess Lockdown is one of his favourite characters! I was so nervous when I was awarded the prize. Last year, I just had to collect my prize, but this year they sort of put me on the spot and had me speak into the microphone. They asked me how I felt and all I could seem to mutter was "Great and excelent"...
Talk about anticlimatic. I was certainly humbled and very greatful (I also wanted to thank you guys, my watchers) I just couldn't seem to spurt anything out. It was quite the embarassing moment. Oh well...

I saw this as soon as I returned from my holiday, and my first reaction was "Woah..."
I'm not surprised you won! As always, you've hit DJW's style on the head, the artwork is crisp and characterful, the colouring is fantastic and YOU GAVE LOCKDOWN THE SPACE PONCHO.

Thanks I always try my best to emulate his style. I bet he saw this during the con, but I wish I could have talked to him about it. Thanks again, I try so much to breath life into my TFA pics. Haha, yes he had to have the space poncho.

You're very good at doing Animated pics- Animated has a very specific aesthetic that is very hard to pull off successfully, but you manage it extremely well.
AND THE SPACE PONCHO YIELDS NOT TO CONTINUITY, MORTAL.

Yes, Ben 10 has a very specific aesthetic to it as well- it's become more stylised with the newer series, but it still retains that "American" look, as well as more than a hint of old sci-fi and monster movies. I can't wait to see DJW's take on the series!

So far DJW's done a good job on it (other than Kevin and Gwem, I don't like that Grandpa Max has no eyes either). Other than those couple of things, I pretty much love everything about it!

The show hasn't started in England yet, but so far it's looking pretty good. I don't mind Kevin and Gwen's new looks, and the fact that Grandpa Max has no eyes is a little weird, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Everything looks like it's going to be great! I love the designs of Bloxx (here in England, CN are trying to break the world record for the most people involved in a Lego model by building a giant version of him) and Feedback, and Fistina is all kinds of win.

oh lol i didn't think about that
but it realy was a good picture, i think animated was the best transformers series and i think you did it justice. (although i was never a fan of prowl joining lockdown)

Why thank you. I think TFA is the best recent TF series (Beast Wars beats only by a smidge). Thanks agaib, I try to be as accurate as possible. I'm not really sure what to think of them teaming up. It was only for a short time (and was actually sort of an obstruction to Prowl's character ark that he overcame). To put it simple though, I just felt this looked cool. LOL

It's actually on my list of things I plan on doing, I was at first thinking of just doing a add on set for my current Coldplay but after heavy consideration I decided not to and to just make a whole new costume, currently Sam. Prowl is 3rd on my list of who to do for cosplays....
