Description
If we could break down those walls to set you free, we would cause we out here, and we miss you.If we could build a ladder that tall to come up and see you, we would cause we down here, and we miss you.
(Lupe Fiasco - Free Chilly lyrics)

This is photo was taken by my sister during her vacation on Mauritius. I was like, wow what an awesome shot you did there! Changed the whitebalance, added some contrast to the sky and fixed the sharpeness.
Hope you enjoy her result as much as i do!
P.S.: Before leaving a stupid "omg its a manip"-comment, check THIS HERE first, thanks.

Not possible. Mauritius is in the Indian ocean; the saltwater would kill the tree. 'Sides, the roots would have nowhere to grow, islands that small consist solely of sand or rock.
I'll give it a hundred for concept and the clever manip, but a negative-million for lying.

LOL, well then Fuji has invented a camera that can do manips when doing your shot already WOW!
Seriously, ever thought that someone has plant that tree there? Hmm, yes maybe.
But guys like you always allege that he/she is lying when you think that this cant be real.
And i will give nothing about your last statement, since i know its a real photo. Now go away, thanks.

No, I'll go where I want thanks.
If it's genuine, then it's a great picture.
If it's a manip, it's still a great picture.
But...I just don't think it's real. Either way, I'll think let the DA staff decide.

I'll give you a P.S. too: the sarcasm and categorization is not appreciated. Imagine if you saw someone lying to a bunch of people, and getting praise for it, when you knew for fact they were wrong. What would you do? I was definitive, and at not directly insulting at all, while your response was defensive and made an assumption and subsequent stereotyping of my general character based on one comment.
So, I guess if we're being sarcastic then I'll say this: Good job being mature.

You are one person in a pool of dozens if not hundreds who claim this is a photomanip. Stop for a second and realise that maybe it gets to a person when he answers for the one hundredth time about the same assumption.
And for that - if multiple people make the same assumption it doesn't make it any more correct. Read his journals, go look in his scraps for the original, 100% shot.
I wouldn't blame him for being sarcastic, honestly, just as I don't blame you for making the assumption. But it is an assumption nonetheless, and a wrong one at that.

True, my opinion is an assumption; I don't know it for fact. However, my instincts and logic tell me that this isn't real. If it is real, I'm no less of a person for questioning and challenging it's creditability. But if it isn't real and I hadn't pointed it out and tried to correct the lie, then I would have been supporting the lie.
So I can understand that detail is getting tired of all these dumb "fake!" comments, but I hope he can understand that I'm not giving another one of those dumb "fake!" comments.
