Well, here's something I never thought I would attempt with my AI art generator..."deep fake" pics. I know there is a world full of people out there who do this to create all kinds of model-based pictures and celebrity pics as well as memes but that just doesn't interest me. It doesn't do the trick for me. Scenic, scenery, nature and concept-art-based expressions are the attraction for me. Also, my 9-year-old PC doesn't have the resources to do deep fake image creation the traditional way I've seen it done where you have to train your own AI models to then use in a generator. It was just never worth the time, trouble, effort or computer resource limitations for me to seriously go there.

The programmer of the freely available open-source AI art generator I use (Automatic1111) just expanded the capabilities of the existing art generator to include a feature that now makes this possible with lesser computer resource demands.  I was intrigued enough to see if it would work on my old PC and what do ya know??? It works!

Now my wife is probably getting sick and tired of me using her likeness in my experimentation. I used a portrait photograph I took of her a year ago as the base human face in the attached images. This is quite addicting but very brain-racking for me as it is incredibly technical way over my small brain. But it was fun side bar. Enjoy!  🙂
