The two typhonites swooped down towards the groups, Scissors roared at them defensively. Sketch stood in a ready fighting stance, eyeing down the creatures. Katrina crossed her arms and reached into her raincoat and whipped out her duel fold out elven daggers. The typhonite with the horn went them first. it barred its jaws and flown directly at Sketch but he warded it off by waving his sword at it. He might have been able to get it if the extremely heavy wind didn't hinder him so much. It slowed down Katrina too but not as much since she used smaller, thinner weapons. The typhonites were still out of their reach since they could sorta fly. The winded picked up even more, the tornado must be getting closer. it was becoming much to dangerous to stay outside like this. That's when Sketch got an idea to get a shortcut to the conclusion of the encounter. He grasped Katrina by the shoulder and pulled her close to speak. "we'll use the wind to jump up higher to hit them in mid-air while they're diving at us" He loudly explained near her ear. "'k!" she agreed. The typhonite with the longer snout came back for another attempted chomp at the teenagers. they stood still for a heart racing moment, watching the hideous hagfish like thing incoming fast. in unison they held their weapons up and sprung up like snakes for a killing bite. The plan seemed to work, the wind giving them an extra boost. until they reached the safety rope. "OW, HOLY SATANIC BUTT PLUG BATMAN!" Kat cried "AH SHIT, KINGLY BONER WORMS" Sketch cried simultaneously. the safety rope dug into both their waist and halted their flight. leaving the feeling of them being torn in half. Sketch and Kat's weapons were involuntary flinging out of their twitching fingers. But Sketch did manage to slice off a claw before the sword was out of his reach. Katrina landed a good stab with her left dagger in its abdomen. Either of Sketch or Kat's blows to it wouldn't have killed it but with them combined it was enough to make the typhonite bleed out.
