"i'll unpack our bags" Kat volunteered. who untied the luggage from Scissors's back and plopped them on the concrete floor. Scissors curled up by the stairway to the outside to guard from anything that might try to break through. she picked up Sketch's bag first, she kneeled down on the ground and unzipped the dufflebag. "let's see here" she announced as she reached in. "a knife" she held up a butterfly knife. "a second knife" she took out a kitchen knife. "a bag of marshmallows, a game controller, a lava lamp, markers, a third knife" she continued to list in an 'seriously?' voice. "a poster of a sexy pirate, a laser pointer, a pillow, a stuffed alligator, and a forth knife" she concluded narrowing her eyes at Sketch. "everything we'd possible need is down here, it's all surviving stuff." Sketch explained proudly. he picked up and presented a fifth knife. "this is how your bag should have looked like" Kat lectured. she pulled her duffle bag over her lap and opened it. "deodorant" she started drilling to Sketch "a blanket, canned food, a flashlight, batteries, a towel, a can opener, a portable gaming device, bottled water, a cell phone, pajamas" she finished her list. "i have a lock box down here filled survival necessary stuff, right over there" Sketch pointed to a box on the bottom rack of the old wooden cellar shelf. the two dragged it out in the middle of the floor and started rummaging with glee. Meanwhile, Stealy took it upon himself to stand by the emergency radio and stay alert for tornado related broadcasts. "ooh, a fold out camping fork" Sketch marveled as he decided to play with it. "Thermal underwear? Sketch, this is wilderness survival stuff, not tornado stuff" Katrina explained. "it can be both, you think your sex parts don't get cold in a tornado?" Sketch retorted. "by the way, did you pack pajamas for yourself?" Kat asked. "um, I needed the room for jellybeans and DVDs" Sketch admitted. "i already packed you some pajamas" Kat reassured.
