Description
Alla Abrov are a dangerous group of monsters spawned from aggregations of pain and misery. Like many mysterious monsters, their origin is unknown, but many think they are a type of demon, and slightly fewer think they are the result of Demon/human hybridization.

These creatures will only appear in the wild if specific conditions are met: The area must have a low light level, a high (or no) ceiling, and multitudes of objects from which to climb, run, jump, or otherwise locomote from place to place without touching the ground. This is most often any densely or partially forested area at night, between late fall and early spring, (when trees have lost most of their leaves and provide relatively unobstructed perches), but can easily be any man-made area that meets similar conditions, no matter how isolated or cut off from the rest of the environment. It seems that, given an appropriate environment, an Alla Abrov simply materializes.

Once an Alla Abrov forms, it becomes a dangerous predator that will ruthlessly pursue its prey sources... which happens to be just about any creature it can catch. While its arms appear malformed and useless, these fiends can do more with two limbs than most creatures can do with all four. Alla Abrov's long, powerful legs allow it to run, leap, or hop in order to quickly dodge an attack... and come back with an even quicker follow-up. Their kicks possess the raw power to shatter ribs, yet it is the dual talons at the ends of their feet that are their greatest weapon. While hopping, balancing, and dodging attacks, Alla Abrov strike like vipers, swiping at their opponent and delivering weakening gashes before leap onto their prey and impaling it, much like a raptor. Once something is sufficiently injured, the monster will engulf it, taking at most two or three bites. Alla Abrov victims are always alive when they are devoured (dying perhaps, but alive), and the species will actively refuse dead prey.

Once enough has been eaten, the Alla Abrov begins to grow a stony bulge between its misshapen pelvis that eventually becomes so large it cracks apart certain areas of the torso and results in even stranger, more distorted leg posture. Eventually the stony object falls away (along with some rotted sections of torso), soon to hatch into a miniature Alla Abrov. Within a manner of days, this newborn will reach adult size, where it presumably remains immortal.

In some cases Alla Abrov eggs have been discovered before hatching, and extensive testing has been done. The eggs are found to have very high concentrations of magic and immense telepathic energy that gradually fades and is not present in the newborns or adults. But by far the most shocking discovery lied in the noises it made. When Alla Abrov eggs are placed close to one's ear, the continuous screams of their many victims can still be heard.
